Wuhan University of Technology (WUT) is a MOE-affiliated 211 Project and Double First-Class university. Materials Science and Engineering and Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering are its flagship disciplines, alongside vehicle engineering, mechanical engineering, transportation, civil engineering and artificial intelligence.
The admissions brochure covers both Chinese-taught and English-taught bachelor majors. Applicants need a solid high-school record, complete and authentic documents, and must sit the CSCA academic proficiency test, in which mathematics is compulsory.
Intake: the main intake for degree programs is September each year (fall semester); some language/foundation programs also offer spring intake — exact dates follow each university’s annual notice.
