Program overview
WUST’s 2026 international undergraduate admission is managed by the International School and covers three majors: Clinical Medicine (Chinese-taught), Civil Engineering (English-taught) and International Business Administration (English-taught).
Clinical Medicine lasts 6 years, combining one preparatory and Chinese year, four years of medical courses and one year of clinical practice; Civil Engineering and International Business Administration last 4 years with the first year devoted to intensive Chinese and HSK4 required before graduation. All three are open to non-Chinese passport holders with a high school diploma, in good physical and mental health.
Intake: the main intake for degree programs is September each year (fall semester); some language/foundation programs also offer spring intake — exact dates follow each university’s annual notice. Application tip: prepare and submit your documents 3–6 months in advance to allow time for review and visa (JW202/visa) processing.
