Program overview
The International Education College at HBUST runs a language class for international students with or without prior Chinese and no hard threshold, with levelled teaching after arrival.
Its main purpose is to bridge into majors such as Clinical Medicine by bringing students to the required Chinese level. Duration and fees are not yet fully published and must be confirmed in writing by the International Education College.
Intake: the main intake for degree programs is September each year (fall semester); some language/foundation programs also offer spring intake — exact dates follow each university’s annual notice. Application tip: prepare and submit your documents 3–6 months in advance to allow time for review and visa (JW202/visa) processing.
